The association was founded in 2019 on the initiative of friends – musicians operating in Greater Poland region and cooperating with each other in many artistic projects. The association appointed two honorary members – Zofia Madeja, granddaughter of Józef Madeja, who actively joined the activities of our organization and prof. Zdzisław Nowak – a long-time teacher at the Music Academy in Poznań, a graduate of the clarinet class of Józef Madeja.

Our main goals:

1. dissemination of various activities, including first of all, the composer’s works of Józef Madeja in Poland, Europe and around the world;
2. co-creating the cultural life of the city of Poznań and Greater Poland region;
3. cultivating the memory of the prominent musicians and composers, associated with Greater Poland region;
4. promoting an active lifestyle including participation in artistic events;
5. enabling free access to relevant artistic events, through organization open and free concerts for the public.
